What We Do
ProStores
ProStores is the complete, affordable online store solution backed by eBay. They've helped thousands of businesses launch and grow their own web stores with our secure, fully customizable eCommerce solutions.
Clarity Design is a certified ProStores Designer. That means our work in designing ProStores web stores has been examined and approved. We have the ProStores stamp of approval. Designing for ProStores isn't the same as designing typical websites. ProStores introduced a set of standards and a specialized coding language to link data to design. These tools make it possible for us to design page templates that display content consistently from category to category, product to product. This keeps the merchant in control of the store, while we keep the site reliably beautiful. At Clarity Design, we know ProStores inside and out. We've earned that shiny logo.

jQuery
jQuery is a fast and concise JavaScript Library that simplifies HTML document traversing, event handling, animating, and Ajax interactions for rapid web development. jQuery is designed to change the way that you write JavaScript. We utilitize jQuery in virtually every website we develop. We try to write the fastest, most concise javascript as we can, while keeping it readable. If possible, we also load Google's jQuery library instead of storing it locally. There's a good chance most browsers have a cached version of it from searching Google or visiting other sites that use Google's library (there are many). jQuery is what allows us to produce stunning effects, including slideshows, element fading, smooth animations, and pages that load dynamically.

HTML 5
HTML5 is the latest revision of the HTML standard (originally created in 1990) and currently remains under development. Its core aims have been to improve the language with support for the latest multimedia while keeping it easily readable by humans and consistently understood by computers and devices (web browsers, parsers etc.). Recently, there has been a lot of hype surrounding HTML5, especially relating to its new capabilities and whether or not it will be able to compete with Flash and possibly drive it to obsolesence. While HTML5 compatability is still too low to use for websites that must be viewable in all major browsers, we use it when possible, and make all new sites compatible with it, should it need to be integrated more deeply in the future.
